Seafood Dinner

While a mouth-watering menu certainly adds to any dining experience, the best meals are often about so much more than food.

With this in mind, TRIO is excited to bring back its popular “Out on the Lawn” event series with two Fall dinners that promise even more memorable moments:

4th Annual Seafood Dinner (October 19, 2017)
In celebration of National Seafood Month, TRIO once again turns to the Texas Gulf for delicious inspiration for its annual sea-to-plate dinner. A raw bar, fresh-from-the-Gulf fish dishes – many grilled to perfection over an open flame – expertly paired wines and music by the Sarah Sharp Trio are sure to make this an event to remember. View the Seafood Dinner Menu

Mexico Dinner

Mexico Dinner (November 2, 2017)
Taking place on Dia de los Muertos, this dinner will overflow with the distinctive colors, sounds and unmistakable tastes of Mexico. Surrounded by traditional decor – such as strings of papel picado and an altar to honor loved ones – guests will enjoy music by the Austin latin band Salúd while feasting on a multi-course menu filled with pan de muerto, edible marigolds, a 60-day aged mole and other favorites culled from the recipe files of Executive Sous Chef Abril Galindo. Every “Out on the Lawn” dinner combines over-the-top menus and unexpected surprises with an unparalleled setting – overlooking Lady Bird Lake beneath towering Texas oaks strung with globe lights. Previous details that have delighted guests include a henna tattoo artist (India), tango flash-mob (Argentina) and a hands-on paella demonstration (Spain).

Dinners typically sell out so those interested are encouraged to call (512) 685-8300 for reservations well in advance.
