The next installment in TRIO’s popular Out on the Lawn dinner series promises to be all fun…and (almost) all game.
Scheduled for Thursday, January 22 at 6:30 pm, the Game Dinner will be themed around wild game, with meats from Broken Arrow – a working ranch based in the Texas Hill Country – featured throughout the five-course menu.
The one-of-a-kind evening will kick off with hot toddies around the fire pits on TRIO’s back lawn. As lights twinkle overhead and Lady Bird Lake glistens below, guests will meet their fellow diners while sampling stuffed quail skewers and axis and boar meatballs.
Next, guests will move inside to family “lodge-style” seating and the remaining four courses, ranging from a game charcuterie platter to whole antelope loin, rabbit meat pies and leg of wild boar, all accompanied by vegetables and a light winter salad.
In addition to the menu, dinner guests will savor wine pairings from regions famed for their game cuisines, including southwest France, the Rhone Valley and South America.
The Game Dinner is $95 per person, plus tax and gratuity, which includes five courses and all wine pairings. As spots are limited, reservations are required and may be made by calling TRIO at (512) 685-8300.
