Hundreds of candles, moonlight and dessert en flambé are just a few of the items on the menu for this month’s Earth Hour Candlelight Dinner in TRIO.
During Earth Hour, which officially happens on March 23, 2013 from 8:30 to 9:30 pm, millions of people around the world will turn out non-essential lights for one hour to help raise awareness for and take a stand against climate change.
This year, TRIO will participate with a special candlelight-only dinner featuring local, sustainable dishes, including a show-stopping Baked Alaska dessert by Executive Pastry Chef Javier Franco. The menu will also be paired with bio-dynamic and sustainable wines hand-selected by Sommelier Mark Sayre.
