Have a friend or relative aching to visit Austin? Winning a dream trip here is as easy as pin this summer thanks to a creative new Pinterest contest being sponsored by Four Seasons Hotel Austin and the Austin Convention & Visitor’s Bureau.

Starting today and through May 31, 2012, travelers over the age of 21 are invited to create a Pinterest board containing 10 to 20 pins showing their “Ultimate Austin PinTrip” and to submit their visual vacation on Facebook.

Following the selection of finalists and a public vote, one Grand Prize Winner will be rewarded for their inspired pinning with a $3,600 prize package including round-trip airfare to Austin, a three-night stay at Four Seasons Hotel Austin and $500 cash to make their dream trip a reality.

“Austin has always been at the forefront of social media, and with our stunning photography showing the city’s beautiful scenery and many activities, this just seemed like a natural idea for a contest,” said Rob Hagelberg, general manager of the Hotel. “We’re excited to engage more with both our current and future fans, and looking forward to seeing the potential of Pinterest as a fun travel planning tool.”
