Mmmm, chocolate and wine…not since peanut butter met jelly and Brad fell for Angelina have two things been so destined to be together.
On Tuesday, February 7, join TRIO Sommelier Mark Sayre and Delysia Chocolatier owner Nicole Patel for a special Wine and Chocolate Pairing that examines just what it is that makes chocolate such an interesting complement to wine.
Taking place from 5:00 to 7:00 pm in the Lobby Lounge, this special event will feature six Delysia chocolate truffles paired with six different half-glasses of wine.
Whether part of a couple or one in a group of girlfriends, you’ll savor the interactive, social nature of this event and the complex flavors of rich chocolate paired with wine. Among the six planned pairings: a Champagne truffle with a rich Henriot champagne, a Cigar truffle – featuring 75% bittersweet chocolate infused with cream steeped with an Excalibur cigar – paired with an earthy Bordeaux, and a Dark Chocolate Coffee Bark truffle accompanied by a brooding Syrah.
